Mental Health Counselling
When we hear the words ‘counselling’ and ‘therapy’, we often think about ways in which we present ourselves to an ‘expert’ because we’re broken and need to be fixed - mentally and emotionally. However, when we see that all humans are made up of managing both mental and physical health, and that we are made up of strengths and struggles, we can better re-frame and challenge this stigma. We are made of successes and failures, filled with many moments of ups and downs. This is the human experience. How do you want to experience yours?
I offer the opportunity for you to gain knowledge, insight, information and guidance by connecting the importance of managing both your mental health and physical health. I focus on helping you to approach this knowledge with self-awareness and self-compassion in hopes that you can discover how to live your best life with your best self.
“Self-care is not indulgence, it is self-preservation.”
